Are you a superstitious person? You know, the type of person who won’t open an umbrella inside, won’t pass beneath an open ladder and has to spin around 3 times when stepping over a crack in the cement?
Here’s a number of the more familiar craps superstitions compiled by a few of the greatest craps players. Incidentally, they believe in a lot of this crazyness too!
1. If the stickman is substituted, at the time of a roll, a seven will follow.
two. If a drink attendant walks up to the table the table, a seven will be next.
3. If the dice being thrown hits a player’s cash, a 7 is possible.
four. If the dice being rolled impacts the glass, a 7 will pop up.
5. If there’s a lot of chatter between the dealers, habitual 7s.
6. If the pair of dice are thrown off the table, 7 is going to be the next number.
seven. If a new pair of dice are requested, 7 is likely to be next.
8. If a person bellows out the number "seven", a seven is certain to be next.
All of this might sound like a bunch of zilch to you but occasionally you might be engaged in an active game where the bones are passing a bit too frequently. If you keep tabs, you will discover that several of the superstitions are, in fact, happening.
You’ll notice that the stickman changes a little too frequently, that in place of 1 cocktail stewardess, the table now has two waitresses bringing drinks and a number of other strange things that eventually mean a 7 is going to be thrown by the tosser.
Bear in mind, you are able to constantly bring your bets down and wait until the following shooter. You can also turn your wagers off, however, if you do, do not turn them back on, because if you do… a seven will be next!
