Dice and dice games goes back to the Middle Eastern Crusades, but modern craps is approximately a century old. Modern craps come about from the 12th Century Anglo game referred to as Hazard. No one absolutely knows the birth of the game, however Hazard is believed to have been discovered by the Englishman, Sir William of Tyre, in the 12th century. It’s believed that Sir William’s paladins wagered on Hazard amid a siege on the fortress Hazarth in 1125 AD. The name Hazard was gotten from the fortress’s name.
Early French settlers imported the game Hazard to Canada. In the 18th century, when banished by the British, the French relocated down south and found refuge in southern Louisiana where they after a while became known as Cajuns.
